When I left high school, I weighed a nice healthy 128 lbs. That was nine years ago. I weighed myself in November and I weighed 158...EEEK! Of course, the big sign I had gained weight is that I no longer wear a size 6 pants. Now on a grand scale, 158 isn't that bad, but I was informed by my doctor it wouldn't hurt to lose a little.
Now, I haven't added any inches to my height...at all. In fact I might have shrunk a quarter of an inch, or the previous doctor rounded up.
Even though I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions, I still decided that I would lose those thirty pounds this year. Well since I last weighed myself, I have already lost ten pounds. Yay!! Twenty pounds to go. Those last ten are going to be a b*tch.
I have started exercising at least 30 minutes a day, doing dancing exercises or pilates via video (that's all I have time for between classes and working two jobs). Still walking the dogs on the weekends up to seven miles - though I hope to increase that when summer comes around.
Anyway, blah blah blah. I mostly posted it publicly to try to have a record to hold myself to this goal. Want to be at my target weight by May!
